Echinacea is a plant in the Asteraceae family. It is native to North America and is now widespread throughout the world, where it adorns many meadows and gardens.

Echinacea has been used for its beneficial effects on the human body in Indian folk tradition. Today it is used in teas and juices, but also in capsules, tablets, tinctures, etc.

Bioherba brand tincture is made from echinacea soaked in glycerin, which gives it a sweet taste. Glycerin is a colourless, odourless liquid, slightly thicker than water.

A daily dose of tincture is equivalent to 500 mg of echinacea.
