Rhodiola rosea, also arctic root (Rhodiola rosea), is a perennial plant from cold high mountain regions that is found all over the world and is also widespread in Slovenia.

It grows to a height of 35 cm and can be recognised by its greenish-yellow round flowers. It is an herb with a long history of use in Chinese tradition, where it is used to prepare hong jing tian.

Use
