The Dansac Nova 2 X3 pads are compatible with all Nova and NovaLife two-piece bags and the correct attachment of the bag to the pad is accompanied by an audible click. The adhesive surface of the Nova pads is diamond-shaped and made of natural material (GX hydrocolloid). The adhesive layer is thickest around the stoma and thins towards the edges, providing a more secure and gentle adhesion to the skin. If more pressure is needed on the pad, the pouch can be secured with a tape that connects to the tape tabs on the pouch. The Dansac belt is available in a length of 100 cm. The Nova 2 X3 pads are slightly convex (the hydrocolloid layer around the stoma is tripled), increasing skin protection and reducing possible underflow. These pads are therefore particularly suitable for ileostomics and urostomics.
