The urinary bladder or urethra is a hollow organ into which urine continuously flows from the kidneys. It allows a person to urinate in a controlled manner. The wall of the bladder consists of three layers:
Most of the processes take place in the lining of the bladder. In women, this mucosa is also connected to the vaginal mucosa through the urethra.
URY Support capsules contain vitamin B3 (niacin), which is particularly important for the bladder because it helps maintain healthy mucous membranes. Immune system function is also important for optimal support, which is why vitamin C is added to the capsules to play a role in:
- functioning of the immune system,
- protecting cells from oxidative stress (it is an antioxidant).
The vitamin B3 content has a significant effect on the bladder mucosa.
In addition to vitamins, URY Support capsules contain up to 5 plant extracts that optimally complement the formula:
- Cranberry extract (Vaccinium macrocarpon Aiton), standardized to 2.4% proanthocyanidins,
- Canadian water lily extract (Hydrastis canadensis L.), standardized to 5% berberine,
- grapefruit extract (Citrus paradisi Macfad.), standardized to 48% flavonoids,
- hibiscus extract (Hibiscus sabdariffa L.),
- heather extract (Erica cinerea L.).
