Rhodiola rosea (Rhodiola rosea) is a perennial herb that thrives in cold regions around the world - especially in the cool climates of Scandinavia, Russia and Canada, and can also be found in our Alps. Because of its beneficial properties and worldwide distribution, its use dates back to the Romans and Greeks and later the Vikings.

You will recognise it by its yellow or orange flowers, fleshy leaves and rose scent, from which it gets its name. The most useful substances are hidden in its root, which also contains the biological compounds salidroside and rosavin.

Use
