Reishi(Ganoderma lingzhi) is a tree mushroom with many names, here it is known as shiny mushroom - because of its shiny cap, while in China it is known as lingzhi and in Japan it is known as reishi.

It is an edible mushroom that has been used in Chinese tradition for more than 4,000 years and has been an important part of Eastern culture for centuries. It is valued for the many useful substances it contains, such as polysaccharides.
