Omega 3 fatty acids are one of the so-called good fats, but our bodies cannot make them, so we have to get them into our bodies ourselves.

The fatty acids EPA (eicosapentaenoic acid) and DHA (docosahexaenoic acid) are particularly important for our body, as they play a role in vision maintenance and brain function (a beneficial effect is achieved with a daily intake of 250 mg of DHA).

Both fats are involved in heart function (beneficial effect is achieved with a daily intake of 250 mg of EPA and DHA).

The vitamin D3 content contributes to muscle function.
