Cod liver oil

Cod (Gadus morhua) is a marine fish of the cod family, mainly distributed in the North Atlantic Ocean (hence the English name Atlantic cod). It is a large marine fish that is mainly used for culinary purposes, as cod dishes are a specialty in many cuisines.

Cod is also increasingly popular for the production of quality fish oil, as their roast yields oil that is a source of Omega 3 fatty acids. These are essential fatty acids that our bodies cannot produce on their own, so we must consume them with food.

Cod liver oil contains two omega 3 fatty acids, namely:

• EPA - eicosapentaenoic acid and
• DHA - docosahexaenoic acid.

Use

Recommended Daily Dose: 1 capsule, preferably with a meal or as recommended by a physician.
