Maple syrup - prepared according to the original Canadian process

Maple syrup is a popular addition to many desserts, but it is especially suitable for pancakes. It has been used by Native Americans and many other tribes in North America and Canada.

It is obtained from the sap of maple trees, which is stored in the trunks of these massive trees. There are several versions of Canadian maple syrup, which are labeled with letters or grades from A to D. They differ from each other in color and flavor.

Smart Organic brand organic maple syrup is prepared following the original Canadian process. Class A, so it is sourced earlier in the season and is also lighter in colour, a little lighter, a little fluid and has a softer taste.

Use organic maple syrup in the same way as regular white sugar.
