Hydrocolloid blister plasters - for faster blister healing

WUNDmed's Patches are extremely comfortable to wear and offer your feet immediate and faster blister healing. Contributing to this are:

• hydrocolloid layer, which acts like a second skin and contains particles that bind moisture and thus accelerate healing,
• air transparent film which prevents the wounded area from coming into contact with water, microorganisms and dirt.

Use

Instructions for use:

• Wash the affected area with water and dry thoroughly as oils and moisture reduce adhesion.
• If the blister has burst, disinfect it.
• Remove the larger protective film and place the patch in the center of the affected area.
• Paste off an even smaller protective film and smooth the patch with the skin.
• Leave the patch on the skin until it peels off on its own.
• Repeat the process until the skin is healed.

Removing the patch:

Option 1: Gently lift the edges of the patch while pulling the skin off. Lift the edges until they are completely detached from the skin. Remove the patch by pulling off the skin.

Option 2: You can stretch and lift the patch horizontally, which will make removal easier in most cases.

After removing the patch, dispose of it in the appropriate bin.

How often/when to change the patch? Leave the patch on the skin for as long as possible. Replace it when maximum absorption is reached or if fluid starts to leak from under the patch.

Contents: 5 patches in 2 different sizes (2x larger 68 x 43 mm, 3x regular 63 x 19 mm).

Medical device.

Caution:Do not use on infected wounds. In case of diabetes or circulation problems, consult your physician before use. If the blister does not heal or the area around the blister is red and swollen, consult your doctor or pharmacist. Single use only - repeated use may cause cross contamination and impair product performance. Do not use in combination with cream as the patch may separate from the wound and not ensure complete healing. Do not use if the packaging is open or damaged. Do not use on bleeding wounds and third degree burns. Do not use if sensitive to the patch or any of its ingredients. Latex-free. For single use. Store dry and protect from direct sunlight, at 0 to 40ºC.
