Hydrocoll is a self-adhesive absorbent hydrocolloid cover with a semi-permeable top layer impermeable to microorganisms and water. The hydrocolloids turn to a gel on contact with wound exudate, creating a moist environment that has a stimulating effect on granulation and epithelialization. Available in five different sizes for practical use.
