Harpagophytum - tincture

Harpagophytum - known as the "devilishly potent plant"

Devil's claw, another name for harpagophytum(Harpagophytum procumbens), is an African desert perennial. It can be recognised by its characteristic fruits (from which it gets its name), which are covered with a number of hooks. What is most useful about harpagophytum is its tuberous taproot, from which various preparations and ointments are made.

Bioherba brand tincture is made from harpagophytum soaked in glycerin, which gives it a sweet taste. Glycerin is a colourless, odourless liquid, slightly thicker than water.

It also contains vitamin B2, which plays a role in protecting cells from oxidative stress!

In addition to harpagophytum, the tincture also contains vitamin B2, which is important for our body as it is involved in various processes in the body. Thus, it contributes/plays a role in:

• releasing energy in metabolism,
• functioning of the nervous system,
• maintaining healthy mucous membranes and skin,
• maintaining healthy red blood cells,
• maintaining eyesight,
• metabolism of iron,
