Guarana powder
Opis
Guarana - high in caffeine and an excellent coffee substitute
Guarana(Paullinia cupana) is a creeping plant native to the Amazon basin. You can recognise it by its large, coffee-sized leaves and fruits, which at first glance resemble the human eye. The guarana fruit has a red skin and inside there is a white core and black seeds. Locals make a tea or drink from the plant.
Guarana is known to contain substances that enter the circulation more slowly, so its action is longer and more even.
About 70% of the guarana produced is used to make energy drinks, while the remaining 30% is processed into powder, which is mostly used to make nutritional supplements.
Guarana powder can be consumed to support the body:
- for people who perform great physical and mental exertion,
- on the road and during long journeys,
- when studying,
- in sports and entertainment.
100 g of guarana powder contains 2.5 g of caffeine.
Use
Use: Guarana powder can be easily taken with drinks, juices, smoothies.
1 teaspoon per cup of beverage is equivalent to approximately 2 cups of coffee. The amount should be reduced or increased accordingly based on caffeine tolerance and body weight.
