Dragon's Blood, or traditionally Sangre de Drago or Sangre de Grado, is the resin of a tree that belongs to the dragon family of plants and is called Croton lechleri in Latin. It is found in the Amazon rainforest and its resin has long been used in South American countries.

The resin gets its name from the distinctive deep red color of the tree's resin, which oozes from cuts in the trees' mottled smooth bark and later dries to a red powder in the air.
