D-mannose capsules - 100% vegan!

Mannose is a monosaccharide, or simple sugar that occurs naturally in plants - for example, birch, corn, but also in some fruits such as cranberries, apples, apricots and peaches. In smaller amounts, our bodies can even make it ourselves - it is formed from glucose, found mainly on the surface of the urinary tract and in the bladder.

Its specialty is that it is absorbed more slowly and most of it is not metabolized, but excreted from the body. It thus reaches the bladder mostly unchanged. In the first hour after ingestion, 90% is excreted by the kidneys into the bladder and up to 99% in the following eight hours.

It binds certain substances that can be eliminated from the body by taking D-mannose.

Mannose is not stored in the liver as an energy store, but remains in the blood, from where it passes through the kidneys to the bladder. It is therefore safe to take even for diabetics who still need to control their blood sugar levels.

Natural D-mannose is100% vegetable - it is derived from corn and thereforehas no side effects, which means it can be consumed long term.
