Aronia(Aronia melanocarpa) is a deciduous shrub with edible fruits or berries. Aronia berries are dark purple, almost black in colour, which is why it is also called black locust.

The plant is native to eastern North America, but today it can also be found in our country because of its appearance, weather resistance and edible berries, which adorn many gardens.
