Camu camu (Myrciaria dubia) is a shrubby tree that thrives in hard-to-reach areas of rainforest along the Amazon, especially in Peru and Brazil. It usually grows to a height of 3 to 6 metres and has white flowers. From December to April, it produces fruits or berries that are slightly larger than cherries.

Camu camu fruits boast a purple-red color and have yellow flesh inside. They are very rare as they are considered one of the richest sources of vitamin C.

FutuNatura's camu camu powder is obtained in accordance with strictly controlled organic production. It contains 5% vitamin C.

Daily dose contains 125 mg of vitamin C.

Vitamin C is extremely important for the human body because it contributes to:

Use

Recommended Daily Dose:1 teaspoon (2.5 g). Stir the powder into water or juice, but you can also add it to other beverages (e.g. smoothies). For an even better taste, you can sweeten the drink with any sweetener you like.
