Organic Peanut Butter from Smart Organic's Bett'r line is a delicious and natural spread that goes anywhere. It's made with 99.4% roasted peanuts, to which a little salt has been added so it contains no additives.

The nutritional value is also commendable, containing lots of unsaturated fat, typical of nuts. It also contains fibre and protein, which are generally important for balanced digestion.

Sustainability was also kept in mind when making the butter, as it is packaged in glass packaging - it contains no plastic, while glass offers better protection for the product from the elements.

The peanut butter has a creamy texture with peanut pieces added to enhance the crunch. Yet it's spreadable enough to spread on bread, pancakes, waffles and you can add jam to top it all off - an American combination that's so delicious they even made a joke song about it.

It also works well in pastries and other desserts, where it provides adelicious nutty flavour and is also very good when combined with fruit, especially banana, apple and berries. You can also eat it by the spoonful - but beware, there is a serious risk of eating the whole jar!
