Bakopa is a lush green creeping plant that grows up to 40 cm and thrives mainly in moist and swampy areas. It can be recognised by its small leaves and white flowers. In Ayurvedic nutrition, the aboveground parts of the plant are most commonly used, possibly the sprouts, but the root, stems and leaves can also be used.

In Ayurveda, bakopa is highly valued and is also called the herb of all herbs for its exceptional properties.

Cosmoveda tablets contain Bakopa powder, which is finely ground below 40°C and sourced from organic regions of India and Sri Lanka.

Only natural excipients - gum arabic (acacia resin) and carnauba wax (vegetable wax from the leaves of the carnauba palm) - are used in the manufacture of the tablets, which give the tablets the necessary strength and texture.
