Psyllium or Plantain of India (Plantago ovata) is a plant whose seeds are prized for the fiber they contain. On contact with water, the seed husks swell to form a gelatine-like substance.

Indian coriander is an all-natural source of dietary fiber. The fibre it contains is difficult to digest and therefore stays longer in the digestive tract, stimulating the nerve endings in the intestine, thus speeding up peristalsis.

Use

Instructions for use:1-2 teaspoons (2.5-5 g) of plantain peel stir into a glass (at least 250 ml) of water, juice, tea or add to yoghurt, porridge, soup or muesli. You can wait a few minutes for them to swell. After swallowing, make sure you take plenty of fluids. It is recommended to take at least 30 minutes before each meal.

Recommended Daily Dose:Maximum daily dose is 5 teaspoons (12.5 g).

Indian Coriander should be consumed at least 1 hour before taking medications or supplements.

Tip: When in contact with water, the skins swell and form a gel-like mass that can also be used to thicken food (fresh desserts are a great solution).
