BIO Matcha powder - for the preparation of precious tea.

Matcha differs from other true teas by the growing process. 20 days before harvesting the tea leaves (Camellia sinensis), they cover the bushes with tarps so that they are not exposed to direct sunlight. This will slow their growth and increase their chlorophyll content, causing them to turn an even darker green colour.

Because its production is quite difficult and the yield is relatively small, matcha is slightly more expensive.

Japanese traditionally drink matcha tea on special occasions, and in the Western world this green drink is popular for the substances it contains. Unlike regular green tea, matcha tea is not filtered or strained during preparation, thus retaining many of the essential substances it contains.

Matcha tea is rich in vitamin C and contains tea polyphenols.

Because of its attractive colour, it is increasingly popular in the kitchen - for example, when preparing desserts (you can add it to biscuits or creams or use it like real cocoa).

You can prepare it as a matcha cappuccino or add it to a smoothie to replace your morning coffee. This way you will replenish your energy and the precious substances it contains from early morning.

Use

Recommended dosage: pour 1 g of powder over 80 ml of hot water 60-80°C and stir. Drink warm or cold. You can add warm (plant) milk to it. You can also froth the milk (soy foam is best) and make a Matcha cappuccino or Matcha latte.
