Bio Cocoa Butter is made from the fruit of the cacao tree (Theobroma cacao), a shrub or tree native to South America. Raw cocoa is extracted from the seeds of the plant, which are then pressed, roasted and ground for processing into cocoa products, such as organically certified Organic Cocoa Butter.

You may not have known, but cocoa butter is the main ingredient in chocolate. It is used in cooking (to make chocolate drinks, baked goods, ice cream) or in cosmetics (skin care products).
